Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan hold talks on border issues

KUVASAI, January 24 (TCA) — Uzbek city of Kuvasai, Fergana region, hosted a meeting between frontier service authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, KyrTAG reported.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed the situation related to Uzbekistan’s Sokh exclave, border entry points operation as well as cooperation of the Kyrgyz Frontier Service and Uzbek National Security Service.
Reportedly, the participants signed agreements on all issues.
The intergovernmental decision on delivering humanitarian aid to the Kyrgyz exclave of and the Uzbek exclave of Sokh was also adopted.
