MAN Auto to produce 1,000 special vehicles in Uzbekistan this year

TASHKENT, January 29 (TCA) — Uzbek-German JV MAN Auto Uzbekistan plans to produce 1,000 units of special vehicles in 2013, UzDaily reported.
According to the governmental resolution ‘On forecast parameters of projects of program on deepening localization of production of ready goods, spare parts and materials for 2013,’ JV will produce 1,000 special vehicles, including dump-body trucks, concrete mixers, truck cranes, drilling platforms, well cementing equipment, and other vehicles on MAN chassis, the source added.
At the same time, the document said that the company will increase localization level of production of vehicles up to 14%.
