Uzbekistan, Netherlands strengthen cooperation in transport

TASHKENT, February 1 (TCA) — Yesterday, the Uzbek Agency for Automobile and river Transport hosted a session of the Uzbek-Dutch joint commission on international automobile transportation, UzDaily reported.
Reportedly, Dutch delegation consisted of ministerial officials, the country’s Honorable Council in Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of Association of Automobile Transporters.
In turn, the delegation of Uzbekistan included representatives of the Ministries, Republican Road Fund and State Customs Committee.
According to the press-service of Uzbek Agency for Automobile and river Transport, the sides considered important and perspective issues of bilateral cooperation in international automobile transportation.
The parties underlined necessity of further development of the Uzbek-Dutch relations in international cargo transportation based on close cooperation within the bilateral intergovernmental agreement on international automobile transportation, signed in Tashkent on 23 December 2002.
