BISHKEK (TCA) — The Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan says a former senior member of the ruling Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK) who was expelled in August has asked for political asylum in the United States, RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service reported.
