Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey launch two new power plant facilities in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT — Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy on March 30 said that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan, attended the ceremony of commissioning a new 240 MW thermal power plant (TPP) and starting construction of a 220 MW piston gas power plant.
