Road safety for key thoroughfare of Dushanbe in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE (TCA) — The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and road safety organisation Eastern Alliance for Safe and Sustainable Transport (EASST) are teaming up with other partners for a road safety project in Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe where a major international motorway will soon come into operation, the Bank said.

European Commission removes all Kazakh airlines from EU Air Safety List

ASTANA (TCA) — On December 8, the European Commission updated the EU Air Safety List, the list of airlines that do not meet international safety standards, and are therefore subject to an operating ban or operational restrictions within the European Union. All air carriers from Kazakhstan were removed from the list, the Delegation of the European Union to Kazakhstan said.

ADB financing to expand Azeri gas field, help create alternative for Caspian gas supply to Europe
