The Times of Central Asia is the first English language regional publication on the region.
Founded in Bishkek in 1999 by Giorgio Fiacconi, who served as the First Honorary Consul of Italy to Kyrgyzstan for fifteen years, The Times of Central Asia was the first English language regional publication on the region. Building upon our extensive archive of stories, today the Times of Central Asia continues to cover politics, economics, culture, social issues, justice and foreign affairs across Eurasia. We have writers and photographers in all the countries of Central Asia.
A hub for interested observers, professionals, international organisations, investors and residents alike, our mission at the Times of Central Asia is to continually innovate and illuminate the dynamic and fast-developing lands which adjoin Europe and Asia.
