BISHKEK (TCA) — The U.S. Government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) procured and handed over soybean harvesting machinery to the Engels Farm company in Kyrgyzstan’s northern Chui Oblast. Approximately 400 soybean farmers will use the machinery to reap larger, higher quality harvests. The farmers will then be able to sell more of their crops at higher prices thanks to the identification of a confirmed buyer, the US Embassy in Bishkek said on August 5. Continue reading
