Italian companies interested in joint investment projects with Kazakhstan

ASTANA (TCA) — The Ministry for Investment and Development and Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan have conducted a series of meetings with executives from major food companies of Italy, who expressed their intention to establish joint enterprises in Kazakhstan for cultivation and processing of fruit and vegetables, production of dairy products and organic manure, the press service of the Ministry for Investment and Development said on January 25.

New U.S. ambassador arrives in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE (TCA) — Ambassador Elisabeth I. Millard has arrived in Dushanbe. She was sworn in as the United States Ambassador to Tajikistan on December 14, 2015 in Washington, DC, the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe said on January 25.

Iran’s mining sector attracts Chinese, European investors

TEHRAN (TCA) — Iran’s mining sector now attracts more foreign investors, with companies from China and Europe lining up to take part in one of the least developed industries in the resource-rich country as Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is visiting Italy and France between January 25 and 27, Iran’s PressTV news agency reported.
