TASHKENT (TCA) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is to visit China on 24-27 April at the invitation of PRC President Xi Jinping to take part in the events of the second International Forum “One Belt, One Road”, Uzbekistan’s Jahon official information agency reports.
NUR-SULTAN (TCA) — At the Government meeting on April 22, chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, First Deputy Prime Minister–Minister of Finance Alikhan Smailov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Beibut Atamkulov, Minister of Justice Marat Beketayev, and regional governors reported on new approaches to improving the work on attracting investments to Kazakhstan, the official website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reported.
NUR-SULTAN (TCA) — At Kazakhstan-Korea Investment Forum on April 22, Kazakh Invest national investment promotion company signed memorandums totaling $113 million with South Korean companies. The memorandums will result in development of projects in various sectors of the economy and creation of over 2,000 new jobs in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Invest reported.

BISHKEK (TCA) — Kyrgyzstan Vice Prime Minister Zamirbek Askarov, Chui Oblast Governor Tuigunaly Abdraimov, and U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Donald Lu on April 19 visited a new apparel factory in the country’s northern Chui Oblast. The new factory creates 350 new jobs for supporting its production expansion and for meeting international quality standards, the US Embassy in Bishkek reported.
