Switzerland helps improve health of rural population in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK (TCA) — With the support of the Swiss cooperation, village health committees and municipalities have implemented joint projects to improve the health of their population in 32 villages of Issyk-Kul and 25 villages of Jalal-Abad provinces of Kyrgyzstan, the Embassy of Switzerland in the Kyrgyz Republic said.

DBK and Almex to jointly attract foreign investment to Kazakh economy

ASTANA (TCA) — The Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Almex Holding Group have signed an agreement on cooperation in co-financing projects and attracting foreign investments into the economy of Kazakhstan. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of DBK Bolat Zhamishev and the Chairman of the Board of Almex Mazhit Yessenbayev, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan reported on July 28.

Kyrgyzstan to build mountain ski cluster at Issyk-Kul

BISHKEK (TCA) — Given favorable geographical and climatic conditions for the development of mountain skiing and tourism in Kyrgyzstan, the Government has initiated a pilot project of a Mountain Ski Cluster in the Issyk-Kul province, Economy Minister Arzybek Kojoshev said at a meeting held last week in the province’s main city, Karakol, to discuss the project, the Ministry’s press service said.
