Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade and exports falling down

BISHKEK (TCA) — In January-May 2016 Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade amounted to around $2 billion and decreased by almost 14 percent compared to the same period last year, Deputy Chairperson of the country’s National Statistical Committee, Lyuksina Tekeyeva, told a news conference on July 12.

Museums, travel agencies join efforts to improve tourism experience in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK (TCA) — Representatives of 25 tourism businesses and museums from across Kyrgyzstan gathered in Bishkek on July 12 to highlight the rich heritage of museums throughout the country and to discuss the important role these museums can play in the tourist industry.
