Investment agreement signed for TAPI gas pipeline

ASHGABAT (TCA) — The shareholders of the TAPI Pipeline Company Limited (TPCL) signed an Investment Agreement on April 7 in a ceremony witnessed by petroleum ministers and senior government officials of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, and senior Asian Development Bank (ADB) officials. It will pave the way for long-term natural gas supplies that will give a major boost to the signatory countries’ economies and energy security, the ADB said in a news release.
