TASHKENT (TCA) — The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $197 million loan to expand its support to Uzbekistan’s horticulture sector by establishing agro-logistic centers (ALCs) in the regions of Andijan and Samarkand to improve processing, storage, quality assurance, shipping, and distribution of horticultural products, the Bank said.

DUSHANBE (TCA) — The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe has started a new project “Patrol Field Capacity Building of the Tajik Border Troops through promotion of Regional Co-operation”. ASTANA (TCA) — A Kazakh-Indian Investment Forum was held last week in the capital of India. The plenary session of the Forum dedicated to the investment opportunities of Kazakhstan was held in the building of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
