EBRD and EU foster small business growth in Central Asia
BISHKEK (TCA) — Central Asia has been on the trading route between East and West for centuries. But small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have only slowly developed in the region. Yet they are a vital engine to spur sustainable economic growth in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) press office reports.
