ASTANA (TCA) — About 5 million tons of cargo was transported between Kazakhstan and China during the first half of 2017, a 26-percent increase on-year. TASHKENT (TCA) — During his visit to the city of Parkent in the Tashkent region, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was presented plans for the development of tourism in the region in 2017-2018 and proposals for construction of recreational and health facilities in ecologically clean areas of Parkent district located near the Uzbek capital city, Tashkent, the Jahon information agency reported on July 22.
