BISHKEK (TCA) — The Aravan Agro Service more than doubled its potato yield and profits in 2016 by partnering with the United States through the USAID Agro Horizon project. BISHKEK (TCA) — The recent summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) did not provide concrete answers to the most crucial problem of Central Asia and neighboring countries: an effective fight against Islamic terrorism. As indicated in the following article by Stephen Blank, originally published by The Jamestown Foundation’s Eurasia Daily Monitor, a multilateral cooperation is needed, and we should add that such cooperation should involve not only SCO members but an international group of nations interested in eradicating any type of terrorism wherever the same takes place, since terrorism has no boundaries. What has happened in Turkey, as well as in Brussels, Paris, and Saudi Arabia, demands an international coalition that should take priority over economic and political interests of different countries.
