Kazakhstan: Polish investors to build innovative greenhouse in Turkestan Oblast

ASTANA (TCA) — A greenhouse complex for growing vegetables using an innovative hydroponic method will be built in the Sairam district of Kazakhstan’s Turkestan Oblast with support of Kazakh Invest national investment support and promotion company. Polish company Polcotton and Kazakh Invest have signed a corresponding memorandum in Astana, the Kazakh company said.

Kazakhstan-Russia intergovernmental commission meets in Kazan

ASTANA (TCA) — The 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia was held in Kazan, the capital of Russia’s Tatarstan region. The co-chairman from the Kazakh side was the First Vice Premier of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, and from the Russian side — the First Deputy Prime Minister Anton Siluanov, the official website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reported on October 29.
