TASHKENT (TCA) — Uzbekistan plans to launch an electronic trading platform, ZoodMall, in the first half of 2018. A Memorandum of Cooperation for this project was signed between National Postal Operator of Uzbekistan JSC Uzbekiston Pochtasi and Swiss company ZOODEL on February 8, the Jahon information agency reported.

ASTANA (TCA) — Over the last 10 years, Kazakhstan has developed under the pressure of external shocks and world turbulence, but the country has avoided dramatic scenarios thanks to timely decisions, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev said at a meeting of the Government held with the participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev on February 9. Sagintayev reported on the country’s results in 2017 and tasks for 2018, the official website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reported.

ASTANA (TCA) — On February 10 а container train consisting of fifty 40-foot containers with wheat was sent from Kazakhstan’s railway station Dzhaltyr in the Akmola region to the port of Ho Chi Minh City. It is the third container train with Kazakh grain shipped to Vietnam, the press office of Kazakhstan’s national railways company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) said.

BISHKEK (TCA) — Corruption has penetrated deeply into the courts, prosecutor’s offices, financial police, the State Committee for National Security, and the police, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the country’s Security Council meeting on February 8. The meeting considered measures against corruption in the judicial, law enforcement and supervisory bodies of Kyrgyzstan.
