BISHKEK (TCA) — The fourth annual fruit-and-berry festival “Karagat Fest” was held in Teploklyuchenka village of Ak-Suu district of Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul region on August 6. The event has been held for the fourth consecutive year as part of the Karagat Plus Program implemented by AVEP Non-Governmental Foundation with the financial support of Kumtor Gold Company. BISHKEK (TCA) — Over three weeks, the University of Central Asia (UCA) hosted top 73 students from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan at the Second Annual Summer Camp, an integrated academic enrichment experience for Grade 10 students, whose closing ceremony took place at the Royal Beach Resort in Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul region on August 8. The Summer Camp participants built friendships and long-lasting relationships through science, debate, sports, drama and field trips, where they gained valuable experience practicing English-language skills and studying collaboratively.
