ALMATY, Kazakhstan (TCA) — A pilot project introducing GPS devices for livestock movement tracking was launched with support of Kazakh Invest national investment promotion company in Almaty region. The project value is $700 thousand. Its developers — the South Korean company Lives'Talk and Samsung Electronics — installed 15 antennas in Kegen district of Almaty region to operate the devices, Kazakh Invest reported on June 27. BISHKEK (TCA) — The fourth in a series of development dialogues gathered leading experts, representatives of international organisations, as well as state ministries and agencies of Kyrgyzstan to discuss “Industrial and Technological Development of Kyrgyzstan”. The half-day development dialogue took place in Bishkek on June 24, and was co-organised by the United Nations system in Kyrgyzstan and the University of Central Asia’s (UCA) Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA).
