Kazakhstan to create electronic atlas of sacred heritage

American and multi-ethnic Latin pop songstress to give concerts in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan

BISHKEK (TCA) — The U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting a series of concerts featuring the Gina Chavez from April 11 to April 18 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and Fergana (Uzbekistan). This tour is dedicated to celebrating spring and partnership between the American and Kyrgyzstani people. US embassy promotes Silk Road connectivity with bike trip across Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT (TCA) — Public Diplomacy Officer J.R. deLara will bike across Turkmenistan March 31 – April 12 to demonstrate support for regional connectivity, promote U.S. educational and exchange programs, and learn more about life in Turkmenistan outside the capital, the U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat said. J.R. will depart from Farap on March 31 and expects to reach the Caspian resort of Awaza on April 12, covering approximately 1,200 kilometers (750 miles) total and approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) each day. Turkmenistan: U.S. embassy brings American musicians to Ashgabat

ASHGABAT (TCA) — The U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan is sponsoring a fourth and final trip by four musicians from the United States to work with the Turkmen National Conservatory, culminating in a joint concert on December 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theatre. The concert will feature American classics, holiday music, and Turkmen orchestral pieces. Concert admission is free and open to everyone, the Embassy said. Continue reading
