TASHKENT (TCA) — A banking summit of one of the largest financial institutions in the world, the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank, will be held in Tashkent on June 26, the Uzbek Jahon information agency reported with reference to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Vienna.

This event is the logical continuation of presentation of the economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan for representatives of more than 50 leading customer companies of Raiffeisen Bank, the Ministry of Finance, the Austrian Control Bank, and the Federal Economic Chamber held on May 7 in Vienna.

As the management of Raiffeisen Bank emphasizes, the summit is an evidence of growing interest in the world in the results of effective socio-economic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at improving the financial and investment climate and increasing the welfare of people.
