ASTANA (TCA) — Kostanay Invest-2018 Regional Investment Forum was held on October 12 in Kostanay in northern Kazakhstan. The forum was attended by Saparbek Tuyakbayev, Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Invest national investment support and promotion agency, who informed the participants on measures taken to attract investment and state support, Kazakh Invest reported on its website.
Also, the forum was attended by representatives of central and local executive authorities, heads of national companies, representatives of state bodies, international financial institutions and companies, as well as officials from Belgium, Indonesia, Uzbekistan and Russia.
During the forum, 19 documents on cooperation amounting to 251 billion tenge were signed. Among them: memoranda between the Akimat (administration) of Kostanay region and Hangteng Auto Co Ltd. (China) on the organization of car production; with AYTEI GROUP Holding company LLP on the construction of a plant for cutting and processing of stone, manufacturing of countertops, sinks for bathrooms; with Krasnogvardeyskiy Machine-Building Plant JSC on the production of large exhaust fans and centrifugal blowers; as well as a road map between the Akimat of the region and Bio Grain LLP on the construction of a hub for the processing of grain and oilseeds.
The forum provided an opportunity for Kostanay enterprises to establish contacts with new potential partners, expand information support for their activities, and get a new impetus for the implementation of future plans.
On the second day of the forum, guests were given the opportunity to visit the industrial zone in Kostanay, as well as an agricultural machinery and cars exhibition.
