Russian companies to showcase products in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT (TCA) — On April 25-27, Tashkent will host the first exhibition of Russian commodity producers “Expo-Russia Uzbekistan 2018”, aimed at further developing trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, the Jahon information agency reports.

The exhibition is organized by JSC Zarubej-Expo (Russia) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The event is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center, as well as the Embassy and Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.

As reported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the exhibition will feature products of over 150 companies of the Russian Federation.

On April 26, it is planned to conduct direct negotiations with participation of Uzbekistan and Russia’s companies and a workshop of Yandex company on “How to sell Uzbekistan goods in Russia via the Internet”.

The Russian exposition will include innovative products and services, promising developments of enterprises, universities and scientific organizations, investment projects of Russian regions.

Presentations of the newest developments in power and machine engineering, metallurgy, construction, transport, telecommunications and communications, mining and chemical industry, agro-industrial complex, and other industries will take place.
