ASHGABAT (TCA) — An exhibition of export goods of Turkey, organized by the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Turkmenistan together with Turkish Meridýen Uluslararasi Fuarçilik Company, opened in the Turkmen capital, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported on December 15.
The exhibition is to give a new impulse to economic cooperation of the two countries and to expand the spheres of business activity.
A delegation of the government structures of Turkey and top managers and specialists of 70 Turkish companies has come to Turkmenistan.
The exhibition presents a wide range of Turkish export production including equipment and spare parts for industries and agriculture, construction materials, household appliances and electronics, furniture, textile, chemicals, perfumes, various food products, and household goods.
Turkey is among the leading trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan.
Various technologies for import substitutive production were presented at the exhibition by STK Makina and Pimak Professional Kitchen. Achievements of textile industry were demonstrated by Astaş tekstili and Öztaş iç Giyim, perfume products by Monty Parfum. Construction materials, metal constructions and spare parts were presented by KA Çelik Konstrüksiyon, Cemina, and Doguş Firça.
Production of environmentally friendly food products is among priority objectives of the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan, and construction of modern greenhouses is underway in all regions of Turkmenistan. In this regard, technologies presented by Turkish Sistem-suntek sera, Metas, Erenoglu Mühendislik, and Genc Guçsan are of particular interest for Turkmen agricultural producers.
