US provides training facility improvements for Tajikistan’s Internal Affairs Ministry

DUSHANBE — United States Ambassador John Mark Pommersheim and Tajik Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Rahmonzoda Saidnakhsh Hakim on February 22 attended the handover ceremony of a $745,543 construction project for the OMON. The construction consisted of a two-story building which includes offices, classrooms, and accommodations for temporary lodging, the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan said.
